26. Reha-Kolloquium 2017 German Congress on Rehabilitation

A symposium on Cochrane Rehabilitation was held at the 26th Reha-Kolloquium or Deutscher Kongress für Rehabilitationsforschung. The Conference took place at the Goethe University in Frankfurt on March 20th - 22nd, 2017. The symposium was organized by Prof. Thorsten Meyer co-chair of the Cochrane Rehabilitation Methodology Committee and member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Rehabilitationswissenschaften (DGRW).

The symposium was introduced by G. Antes, Director of Cochrane Germany. Prof. Stefano Negrini (Cochrane Rehabilitation Director), Dr. Carlotte Kiekens (Cochrane Rehabilitation Coordinator), and Prof. Thorsten Meyer presented the development, vision and goals, organisation, structures and functions of the field. The future challenges for the use of research evidence in rehabilitation practice were discussed as well as the different opportunities to get involved in the work of Cochrane Rehabilitation.
