The XVII Congress of the International Society for Physical Rehabilitation Medicine will take place from June 4–8, 2023 in the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center, Colombia. This year’s congress will include multiple events, with the National Congress (Asociación Colombiana Medicina Física & Rehabilitación) as well as a meeting with several Ibero-American societies.

The theme is “New perspectives in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for global health challenges,” and it represents the intention of focusing on the current and future rehabilitation health needs of people around the world.

Cochrane Rehabilitation will contribute to this event with:

• Monday, June 5, a workshop titled “Systematic review the critical appraisal and evidence communication” with Julia Engkasan, Farooq Azam Rathore, and William Levack.
• Tuesday, June 6, a session moderated by Francesca Gimigliano, Luz Helena Lugo, and Stefano Negrini discussing interesting topics about methodology in rehabilitation by Carlotte Kiekens, Chiara Arienti, Pierre Côté, Thorsten Meyer, and Ana Maria Posada.
