The Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) is proud to announce that its Annual Meeting, Physiatry ’22, is taking place May 24–28, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana!
Pack your bags and get ready for our biggest party yet (with the utmost care given to safety considerations). This year, the AAP is putting a strong focus on diverse and interactive presentations, so you can expect a valuable learning experience. Physiatry ‘22 will help you foster lively in-person discussions, collaborations, new ideas, and unprecedented career growth with rehabilitation peers from all over the globe. Plus, this will be the first in-person PM&R meeting in the United States in more than two years!
On May 27th, in a dedicated session, Stefano Negrini and Carlotte Kiekens will present the two main initiatives of Cochrane Rehabilitation. They involved worldwide stakeholders to improve the evidence production in PM&R.
The first one is the new reporting guidelines (RCTRACK for RCTs and GUIDE-Rehab for all studies on rehabilitation treatments) that will serve authors to properly report their research results, reviewers to improve studies and clinicians to replicate studies in their clinical everyday life.
The second initiative is the rehabilitation definition for research purposes that will serve to clarify the description of interventions and the identification of studies to be synthesized in systematic reviews.
Registration for the AAP’s Annual Meeting is open. Don’t wait until the last minute! Be sure to register now to get the best bang for your buck.
