We are thrilled to announce the upcoming "Cochrane Rehabilitation evidence-based course 2024," a collaborative effort organized by Cochrane Rehabilitation, the ISPRM Presidential Cabinet, and the Sidney 2024 Meeting organizers. This course is designed to deliver readily applicable evidence-based practice insights, drawing from the triad of Cochrane evidence, speakers' expertise, and patients' values.
Comprising one preliminary 50-minute online session and five live sessions, each lasting an hour, this course promises to delve into evidence-based approaches across various domains including Low Back Pain, Sarcopenia, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, and Traumatic Brain Injury.
The preliminary online session will lay the foundation, covering essentials of Cochrane and Cochrane Rehabilitation, emphasizing their significance, and highlighting recent advancements in evidence development. Additionally, participants will be introduced to the WHO Package of Interventions for Rehabilitation (PIR).
All sessions are open to attendees of the 2024 Sidney ISPRM Meeting. To obtain the Cochrane Rehabilitation – ISPRM certificate, participants must engage in the following:
- Attend the online session and follow the provided lectures.
- Participate in at least three out of the five live sessions.
- Complete the questionnaires accompanying each session, ensuring a minimum of 80% correct answers.
Led by esteemed international experts from Cochrane Rehabilitation and ISPRM, these sessions will feature interactive Q&A segments, enriching the learning experience.
Participants will be required to attend four sessions in total, including the online session and a minimum of three live sessions. Upon successful completion and fulfillment of the requirements, certificates will be emailed to participants post-meeting.
