Theme: The Science of Rehabilitation and Commitment to the Community for a New Ethics of Rehabilitation

Cochrane Rehabilitation is pleased to announce its participation in the 52nd National Congress of the Italian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (SIMFER), to be held in Padua from October 6 to 9, 2024. The congress will focus on the ethical foundations of daily rehabilitation practice, covering traditional topics in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, such as rehabilitation for major musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, internal, and cognitive conditions.

The congress will also highlight significant technological innovations shaping the future of rehabilitation, including tele-rehabilitation, artificial intelligence, predictive algorithms, and healthcare digitalization. Additional discussions will address governance, education, and community awareness regarding disability, national and regional legislation, access to rehabilitation care, new communication methods, privacy in rehabilitation, and the doctor-patient relationship in the digital communication era.

Cochrane Rehabilitation ECM Pre-Congress Course:

Improving Daily Clinical Practice and Rehabilitation Research Using Innovative Cochrane Rehabilitation Tools.

Join us for a theoretical-practical course on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This pre-congress course, organized by Cochrane Rehabilitation, aims to enhance daily clinical practice and research in rehabilitation through the use of innovative tools developed by Cochrane Rehabilitation.

Please note that the congress will primarily be conducted in Italian.
