Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi is a non-profit organization present Italy, operating in close connection with the public health and welfare system through agreements and accreditations, that carries out rehabilitation activities, social and health care, scientific research and training.
The collaboration between Cochrane Rehabilitation and Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi started in 2016 when a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
In these years Cochrane Rehabilitation has grown exponentially, reaching most of its goals as ensuring that all rehabilitation professionals can apply Evidence Based Clinical Practice, combining the best available evidence as gathered by high quality Cochrane systematic reviews, with their own clinical expertise and the values of patients. This was possible also thanks to the financial and strategic support offered by Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi.
The mutual benefits achieved by the two parties led to the decision of extending the collaboration for five years more.
