Dr Carlotte Kiekens, Cochrane Rehabilitation Coordinator, was awarded by the Belgian Society for Neurorehabilitation with the Luc Van Calster Prize.
The Luc Van Calster prize is aimed to award a physician or allied health professional in the Field of Neurorehabilitation, recognized for his work, and who has promoted the multidisciplinary character of rehabilitation.
One of the reasons for choosing Dr Carlotte Kiekens as reciepient of the award was her key contribution in the creation of Cochrane Rehabilitation.
The ceremony took place during the Second International Congress on Neurorehabilitation and Neural Repair organized by the Dutch, Belgian and German Societies that was held in Maastricht from May 22nd to 24th.
