As a member of the Advisory Board of Cochrane Rehabilitation, the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) works actively to promote the use of evidence-best practices within the global occupational therapy community.

WFOT published new guiding principles for the use of evidence in occupational therapy in June 2021. The guiding principles are now available from WFOT here. In recent months, WFOT nominated expert occupational therapist reviewers for a publication under development by Cochrane Rehabilitation. The reviewers provided feedback for a planned new resource that describes factors that influence the provision of home-based rehabilitation services. In addition to these activities, news regarding the work of Cochrane Rehabilitation continues to be regularly shared with occupational therapists around the world through the WFOT website.
