The 5th Cochrane Rehabilitation Methodological Meeting

The 5th Cochrane Rehabilitation Methodological Meeting is a gathering of global experts in rehabilitation research methodology, focused on the theme "The Rehabilitation evidence-generation ecosystem: useful study designs". The goal is to improve the status quo in the use of scientific evidence in rehabilitation, providing a better understanding of its production and synthesis for practical purposes for sector operators.

In collaboration with the European Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Bodies Alliance, this project aims to organize all the Cochrane Systematic Reviews of rehabilitation interest in a web-based ebook with summaries targeted to clinicians, students, health managers, and consumers. The project is performed with the Residency Schools in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine of the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" and of the “Politecnica delle Marche”.


GUIDE-Rehab: Guideline for Intervention Description in Rehabilitation

The Guideline for Intervention Description in Rehabilitation (GUIDE-Rehab) aims to provide a comprehensive framework for describing interventions in rehabilitation studies.


RCTRACK: Randomized Controlled Trial Rehabilitation Checklists 

Stemming from the need to improve the quality of rehabilitation research, this project aims to produce a specific reporting guideline for Randomized Controlled Trials in rehabilitation. These will focus on the methodological needs of end users, to allow a better understanding of the treatment provided. The production of conduct guidelines is also expected in a second moment.
