Established in 2007, the Asian Oceanian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine aims to be the leading regional society for practitioners. Its goals include enhancing physicians' understanding and management of impairments, improving quality of life for individuals with limitations, and facilitating input to International Health Organizations from the Asian Oceanian Region.

The International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS) promotes the highest standard of care in the practice of spinal cord injury for everyone throughout the world. Through its medical and multidisciplinary team of Professionals, ISCoS endeavours to foster education, research, and clinical excellence.

Mediterranean Forum of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine
The Mediterranean Forum of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (MFPRM) has been founded in 1994 with the aim of unifying physiatrists working in Mediterranean countries. They have 29 countries as members. Since the first congress in 1996, a total of 12 congresses were held biannually, and each year, an educational summer school is organized for young colleagues. 
  
World Federation of NeuroRehabilitation
The World Federation of NeuroRehabilitation (WFNR) is a multidisciplinary organisation open to any professional with an interest in neurological rehabilitation. WFNR agreed to collaborate in educational and methodological activities.
  
World Federation of Occupational Therapists
The World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) is the international voice for occupational therapy. They are a global network of 107 member organisations, representing 633,000 occupational therapists.
