Last February the World Health Organization (WHO) has gathered together, in Geneva, more than 200 people representing the different rehabilitation stakeholders. The occasion was a meeting aimed to launch “Rehabilitation 2030 – a call for action” and to present the “WHO Recommendations on rehabilitation in health systems”.

Cochrane Rehabilitation is a global network of individuals, involved in the production, dissemination, and implementation of evidence-informed clinical practice in rehabilitation.The new Cochrane Field will promote and advocate for using the best evidence within the rehabilitation world, including physical therapy, speech and occupational therapy, prosthetics and orthotics, psychology, and physical medicine to inform clinical decision-making.

Global Evidence Summit 2017: Using evidence.

The Signature of Memorandum of Understanding between Cochrane, University of Brescia and Don Gnocchi Foundation was held in University of Brescia, Brescia, Italy, on September 20th 2016.

The Exploratory Meeting with interested stakeholders was held in Rovato (Brescia), Italy, on September 19th 2016. Interest in the initiative was confirmed by the participation of more than 78 people out of 89 registered participants from 27 Countries. The Exploratory Meeting was devoted to identifying the needs of the Field.
